CATEGORY: Event TYPE: Obituary NOTE: MARY M. (BABOTA) JAMIESON, 78, of Old Diamond Hill Road, and formerly of Fogarty Manor, in Pawtucket, and Rand Street, in Central Falls, a retired inspector, died Monday at Emerald Bay Manor, in Cumberland.
She was the wife of the late John E. Jamieson. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Asaad and Bahija (Salloum) Babota, she had lived in Pawtucket and Central Falls for most of her life. She moved to Cumberland two years ago.
Mrs. Jamieson had been an inspector at the Teknor-Apex Co., in Pawtucket, for more than 25 years before she retired in 1988.
She was a former member of the Fogarty Manor Association.
Mrs. Jamieson was a communicant of Notre Dame Church, Central Falls.
She leaves two sisters, Jennie M. Babota, and her twin sister, Olga B. McGill, both of Pawtucket. She was a sister of the late James and Michael Babota.
