CATEGORY: Event TYPE: Obituary NOTE: WEBSTER - Walter L. Neulieb, 89, of 8 Cross Court, a self- employed plumber for many years, died Thursday in the Lutheran Home of Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 64 years, Eleanor H. (Schur) Neulieb; a son, Ronald H. Neulieb of Alta, Iowa; a daughter, Patricia E. Bean of Westboro; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Webster, son of Herman and Bertha (Kindler) Neulieb.
Mr. Neulieb was a self-employed plumber for many years, retiring in 1973. He was once the town plumbing inspector, and was the youngest such inspector in the state when he was named to the post. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Oxford.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church, 70 South Main St., Oxford. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Scanlon Funeral Home, East Main Street.
