HARRISVILLE, N.H. - Marie (Sessler) Hasz, 82, of East Shore Road, formerly of Webster, Mass., died Saturday in Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Delray Beach, Fla. She was visiting a daughter in Delray Beach when she was stricken ill.
Her husband of 30 years, the Rev. Martin J. Hasz Sr., former pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford, Mass., died in 1965. She leaves three sons, Martin J. Hasz Jr. of Middletown, Conn., Mark A.C. Hasz of Granger, Ind., and Mario D. Hasz of Cromwell, Conn., five daughters, Marie E. Geesa of Doraville, Ga., Marcia K. Miller of Delray Beach, Fla., Marguerite A. Visconti of Buena, N.J., Marilyn R. Schur of New Braintree, Mass., and Marna E. Hasz of Sutton, Mass.; a sister, Frieda Euerle of Milton, Mass.; nine grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Germany, daughter of Karl and Marie Sessler, and lived in Webster from 1964 to 1966. She lived many years in Harrisville.
Mrs. Hasz graduated from high school. She worked as an executive secretary in Boston many years ago.
Mrs. Hasz was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford, and a longtime member of many religious organizations.
Memorial services were held yesterday in Delray Beach. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Monadnock View Cemetery, Keene.
Scobee-Ireland-Potter Funeral Home, 300 N.E. Fifth Ave., Delray Beach, is directing arrangements.
