DUDLEY Helen D. (Zach) Streich, 98, of 12 Warsaw Ave., died Saturday, Feb. 28, in Webster Manor. Her husband of 24 years, Herbert Streich, died in 1952.
She leaves a daughter and her husband, Barbara H. and Thomas R. Ciesla of Webster, and several nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by 4 brothers, Julian, Edward, Joseph and Stanley Zach.
She was born in Webster, daughter of Peter and Julia (Dobrowolski) Zach, and lived in Webster and Dudley.
Mrs. Streich was a mender at Anglo Fabrics Co. in Webster for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church and its Holy Rosary Sodality, and a former member of the Dudley Women's Club and the AARP. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and did extensive traveling in Europe and the United States. She also went on many cruises.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Webster Manor Activities Fund, 745 School St., Webster, MA 01570.
