LOUIS L. SCHREMSER
Louis L. Schremser, 81, of Killdeer, died suddenly this morning at his
home. Medical Examiner Dr. Anthony Wojciechowski pronounced death due
to natural causes.
A resident of this community most of his life, he was the oldest
charter member of Emanuel Lutheran church and the first president of
the organization. He was a master mechanic before his retirement
twelve years ago, and was a member of the Men's Club of his church.
Surviving are his wife, Lena (Redlitz) Schremser; seven sons, Arthur,
Albert, Edmund, Harold Schremser, all of Oxford; George, Eugene and
Wesley Schremser, all of Webster; ten daughters, Mrs. Clara Boener and
Mrs. Dorothy Gallagher, of Pennsylvania; Mrs. Betha LaMountain of
California; Mrs. Martha Rogers of Bellingham; Mrs. Alice Brooks,
Mrs. Emily Gardner, Mrs. Olga Moritz, Mrs. Gertrude Bayer, Mrs. Helen
McGovern, and Mrs. Louise Matilla, all of Webster; 34 grandchildren
and 5 great-grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at the Scanlon Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon
at 2:30 p.m. with services in Emanuel Lutheran Church at 3, in charge
of Rev. Joshua Lindstrom. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
