WEBSTER - Dorothy R. (Martin) Kleinknecht, 72, of 149 Lake St., formerly of Watson Road, Quinebaug, died Monday in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
Her husband, John C. Kleinknecht, died in 1991. She leaves a son, Jeffrey J. Kleinknecht of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Edmund Martin of Dudley; two sisters, Adele Angerman of North Grosvenordale and Anna Langlois of Uxbridge; nephews and nieces. Born in Webster, daughter of Julius and Juliha (Redlitz) Martin, she lived 20 years in Quinebaug before returning here.
Mrs. Kleinknecht was a secretary at American Optical Co., Southbridge, before retiring. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow in Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St. Her nephew, the Rev. Robert Langlois, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, First Street, Webster 01570.
