WEBSTER - Erwin B.F. Angermann, 83, formerly of 40 Hillside Ave., died yesterday in Providence House Nursing Home, 119 Providence St., Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Adele (Martin) Angermann; a daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Johnson of Thompson; a brother, William Angermann of Worcester; two sisters, Flossie Wilk of Worcester and Lillian Karnes of Deltona, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Mr. and Mrs. Angermann celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last Aug. 15. He was born in Bremerhaven, Germany, son of Otto and Terese (Rosenbusch) Angermann, and lived here most of his life before moving to Worcester recently.
He was a machinist at Norton Co. in Worcester, where he worked for 44 years. He retired in 1970. Mr. Angermann was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and a longtime superintendent of its Sunday school. He was a board director of the church, and sang for many years in its choir.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Emanuel Lutheran Church, 7 First St. The Rev. Cathy Ammlung will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight at Robert J. Miller Funeral Home, 366 School St. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 7 First St., Webster, 01570.
