She was the beloved wife of the late Martin J. Stamp. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Wilhelmina (Lorio) Ringe. Edith worked along with her late husband at Ru-Mart Metal Specialties but primarily spent most of her life raising her family. She lived in Rehoboth, MA most of her single life, resided in Cranston for over sixty-five years, and summered in Bonnet Shores for forty-eight years. Edith and her late husband were charter members of Quidnessett Country Club. She was a member of the German American Cultural Society.
She is survived by her loving children Marcia S. Doyle and her husband Edward of Falmouth, MA, and Brian F. Stamp and his wife Brenda of Davie, FL. Edith was the cherished Nana of Chara Stamp of CA, Eli Stamp of China, and Otis Stamp of FL., and the great-grandmother of Hugo and Milo Stamp. Edith was the sister of the late Frank Ringe, Elsie Berghahn, Doris Darling-Sdrojek, and Ruth Redinger.
