CATEGORY: Event TYPE: Obituary DATE: 13 Apr 2010 NOTE: Louise R. (Stamp) Petrella, 87, of Winifred Avenue, Warwick, died Tuesday at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Pasco J. Petrella. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Anna Stamp.
Mrs. Petrella was a waitress in several area restaurants until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Providence.
She was the beloved mother of Patricia A. Demers of Mississippi, Leonard F. Murphy of Warwick and Joseph M. Petrella of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Caring sister of Joseph Stamp of Providence, Esther Stamp of Huntington Beach, CA and the late Martin, Henry, Anna and Elsie Stamp. Cherished grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of seven.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 445 Elmwood Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
