Charles J. Asea
Charles J. Asea, 81, Lake Suzy, died Nov. 12, 2004.
He was born April 19, 1923, in North Bergen, N.J. He retired from the U.S. government and was a representative of the Department of Defense in Springfield, N.J. He was a fire commissioner in Parsippany, N.J., and a captain in the Rockaway Neck First Aid Squad. He served as communications director of Parsippany Civil Defense, Disaster Control. He was a life member of the New Jersey State Exempt Fireman's Association.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Evelyn; daughters Joann Shepard of Lake Suzy and Suzann Morris of Great Notch, N.J.; sons James of Parsippany and Charles Jr. of Martinsville, N.J.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda Chapel. PLAC: Lake Suzy, FL
