WEBSTER - Elsie (Gatzke) Korch, 97, of Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, formerly of 54 Morris St., died Monday in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
Her husband, John Korch, died in 1975. She leaves three sisters, Emma Prahm of North Brookfield, Mildred McNeil of North Dighton and Claire Billings of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was born in Dudley, daughter of August and Hulda (Blumke) Gatzke, and lived in the Dudley-Webster area most of her life.
Mrs. Korch was a weaver many years ago at American Woolen Mills.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Zion Lutheran Church, 70 South Main St., Oxford. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours at Scanlon Funeral Home, East Main Street, are 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow.
