NORTH BROOKFIELD - Emma A. (Gatzke) Prahm, 99, of Wilbraham, formerly of 90 Gilbert St., died Friday night in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
Her husband, Adolf E. Prahm, died in 1985. She leaves a son, Dr. Clarence H. Prahm of North Brookfield; two daughters, Beverly D. Krusell of North Brookfield and Shirley L. Mueller of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mildred McNeill of North Dighton and Claire Billings of Webster; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was born in Dudley, daughter of August and Hulda (Blumke) Gatzke, and lived more than 50 years in Southbridge, and 10 years here, before moving to Wilbraham in 1990.
Mrs. Prahm was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster, its Altar Guild and its Women's Lutheran Association. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 400 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, 01109.
