Jennie C. Ameen Nassif, 75, of North Main Street, formerly of Rich Street, died Friday at Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Michel Nassif.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Zahran Ameen and the late Hannah Ferris (Eid) Amin.
A communicant of St. Anthony of the Desert Church, she was educated in local schools.
She was a seamstress and store manager at the former Leeds in Fall River for about 10 years and spent many years as a homemaker.
Mrs. Nassif was a member of the Blessed Mother Guild of St. Anthony of the Desert Church. She was also a member of the Mount Lebanon Drum and Bugle Corps and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include a son, Mark Nassif of Fall River; two daughters, Clarissa Gonsalves of Fall River and Michele Whritenour of Assonet; a sister, Evelyn Asea of Port Charlotte, Fla.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Victoria Camara and Assad, Adeeb, Chick and Phillip Ameen.
