Emily Mardo, 61, of 84 Burnett Rd., died yesterday in Kent County Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Edward G. Mardo.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Nakiey and Nabiha (Bobota) Ameen. Mrs. Mardo had lived in Warwick 12 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Carolyn Pires of Pawtucket; a stepdaughter, Shirley Hindy of Seekonk, Mass.; a stepson, Edward Mardo of Pawtucket; four brothers, William, Edward and George Ameen, all of Pawtucket, Raymond Ammen of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the A. T. Costigan and Sons Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Basil the Great Church, Broad Street, Central Falls. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
