DUDLEY -- Carolyn A. ''Cee-Cee'' (Czyzewski) Schur, 90, formerly of 6 Schofield Ave., died Friday, July 18, in Fairlawn Nursing Home, Leominster, after an illness.
Her husband of 50 years, Frederick J. Schur Sr., died in 1985. She leaves a son, Frederick J. Schur Jr. of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Maryagnes C. DeFilippo of Leominster; two brothers, Joseph Czyzewski of the Fiskdale section of Sturbridge and Norman Czyzewski of Webster; four sisters, Helen Trombley of Sturbridge, Dianne Lavallee of Lowell, Gladys Livernois and Nancy Capistrand, both of Southbridge; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Peter, Frederick and Stanley Czyzewski; a stepbrother, Walter Michalski; and two sisters, Stephanie Welch and Stella Ohop, predeceased her. She was born in Geneva, N.Y., daughter of Antony and Agnes (Wadowski) Czyzewski, and lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Schur was a candy inspector at C.S. Allen Candy Shop, and then at Borden Inc. in Grosvenordale, retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church and its Holy Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Dudley Council on Aging. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and arts and crafts.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 24, in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St. Private burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew Bobola Church Renovation Fund, 54 West Main St., PO Box 98, Dudley, MA 01571-0098. Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, Webster, is directing arrangements.
