NORTHBORO - Martha W. (Schur) Stapelfield of 18D Village Drive, formerly of Marlboro, died yesterday in her home after an illness.
Her husband, Charles F. Stapelfield, died in 1965. She leaves a daughter, Marcia Sedelow of Westboro; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Webster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Schur, and later lived in Marlboro. She lived here 30 years.
Mrs. Stapelfield was a member of the Northboro Senior Citizens. She was once active with the Girl Scouts of America in Marlboro.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Leland- Hays
Funeral Home, 56 Main St. The Rev. Kenneth O. Bean will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
